Cowgirls & Lace: A Unique Shopping Destination in Dripping Springs, Texas
Founded in 1993 by local designer and entrepreneur Reba Byrd, Cowgirls & Lace began as Le Ragge Ruggs—a small boutique in Dripping Springs offering handmade rugs and fabric remnants. What started as a 1,000-square-foot shop has grown into one of the best home décor and gift stores in the Texas Hill Country.
With a natural eye for design and a passion for customer service, Reba built Cowgirls & Lace into a destination for custom bedding, drapery, unique gifts, and stylish home accents. In 1996, she expanded the store’s offerings to include carefully curated home décor, seasonal decorations, and specialty gifts—creating what is now known and loved as Cowgirls & Lace.
Today, Cowgirls & Lace features an ever-changing mix of high-quality products, including Charlie Bears, Johnny Was blankets, Tyler Candle Company products, and so much more. Meet our founder, Reba Byrd
The heart and soul of Cowgirls & Lace is Reba Byrd. With years of experience in various retail ventures, Reba opened Le Ragge Ruggs and later expanded to Cowgirls & Lace in Dripping Springs, a community that has since become a destination for shoppers from across Texas. Her passion for retail began at a young age when she worked in her mother's restaurant, and her love for the craft only grew stronger as she ventured into her own business.
As the store continues to grow and evolve, Reba’s dedication to providing exceptional customer service and keeping the store fresh and relevant has been key to our success.
